If i could give 0 stars I would. I was in a bad place when I brought the car to them. They took apart my transmission and left it in my trunk with fluid still in it. Per the contract I sign in lieu of storage fees I had to keep insurance on the car which I did. But immediately renigged on that when I said I wasn't keeping the car. They also refused to let me take my personal items out of the car. I will never let anyone I love come to this place. Terrible.

I've taken vehicles to this Mr. Transmission for decades. The service has been always been good. After purchasing the shop, the McElraths have taken the service to an even higher level. Lyle and his mechanic, Mike, are aces. Sharon keeps me updated on the status of repairs, which are always done quickly. I was just running through the vehicles in my head and I believe I've had six different vans and cars, both foreign and domestic, in there in the past few years. It's my go to for auto repairs, even though I live 30+ miles away. There are some businesses you just trust. The McElraths Mr. Transmission is one of those businesses for me. I refer people to them often.

Went over to Lyle at Mr.Transmission while driving through the state on my way home. Car started making a weird noise thought it was the trans. Needless to say they took care of me and were true professionals. If I lived in Newport News I would for sure use them for any of my vehicle needs.

I just wanted to thank Lyle, Sharon, Mike, and the other guys in the shop for taking such good car of our eclectic mix of vehicles. We have had MOPAR, Chrysler, Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audis all serviced in some way or another. The diagnosis has been honest and upfront, the work has been spot on, and the results very good. I am a very satisfied customer :-)
